Patrick Laforgue, graduated from the Marseille School of Architecture in 1974, founded the cooperative group "Architecture & Urbanisme" in Tarbes in 1980, then in 1987, participated in the Architecture collective "Philibert Delorme" in Paris until 1990. In July 1996, he set up the "Laforgue & Larrondo" agency, in association with Jean-Michel Larrondo, from whom he separated in July 2010, to create his own Architecture company; the Atelier of Architecture Patrick Laforgue, located in Biarritz.
In 2018, his daughter Johana Laforgue, after completing  her studies at ENSA Toulouse, returned to live in the Basque Country. The company then becomes the "Atelier of Architecture Laforgue & Laforgue".
