Chateau Montus
Project description : Chateau Montus
Before the works, Château Montus was a place called a small 19th century dwelling house and a listed 18th century barrel cellar. The work of restoring the cellar, enlarging and transforming the house into a castle was carried out in collaboration with the Architect of French buildings, Mariano Marcos. Château Montus is therefore a total creation and not a restoration as shown in the photo in progress. The new underground barrel cellar, 2000 m2, was built in prefabricated white concrete vaults; the vat room is made up of 50 vats of 20,000 liters and a reception room, accessible on two levels. Total area of operation, 5900 m2.
