ON THE THEME OF WATER 

 

Fresh water is scarce and vital during summer in the Greek islands.

So we have taken particular care to highlight the water in this project.

Upon entering the house, one discovers a traversing living room,

oriented towards the sea through the total opening of the folding windows.

The entrance basin reflects the aerial structure of the framework, crossing the house,

separating the living spaces from the sleeping spaces, before cascading into the pool,

which itself overflows to the Ionian Sea.

One enters the house walking on the water which is at the center of the architecture,

including in the recovery and treatment of rainwater.

In this way, the pools are refreshing in the summer,

and provide structure to the composition of the building and its circulations.
